Launch of the Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation VR Exhibition

To elevate the awareness of Urban Innovation among the general public, an exhibition featuring some of the award-winning initiatives of the Guangzhou  Award was launched in the Guangzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Centre at the end of 2019. This release of its online version - a virtual representation using the latest VR technology, will also reflect some of the recent additions to the showroom, including new panels illustrating 15 shortlisted cities of the 5th Guangzhou Award, and an art exhibition by local students on their understanding of urban innovation.

 

This exhibition is organized by the City of Guangzhou in partnership with:  Metropolis and UCLG

 

A variety of audience are expected: city managers, mayors, decision and policy makers, city practitioners, international organizations, etc.
