The South African Cities Network (SACN) is a network of South African cities and partners created in 2002 that encourages the exchange of information, experience and best practices on urban development and city management. Metropolis is currently collaborating with the SACN in the framework of the Forum on African metropolises (FAM), which represents a united voice that aims to influence the global agenda and the African Union.
