World Forum of Local Economic Development

 

The World Forum on Local Economic Development (WFLED) is a global platform that brings together governments, organizations, and partners to advance local economic development and drive concrete actions toward the 2030 Agenda.

It fosters dialogue, knowledge exchange, and co-creation of inclusive policies to tackle SDG implementation challenges. The sixth edition will take place in Seville, Spain, from April 1 - 4, 2025, focusing on just transition, financing for development, and territorial solutions.

The first UCLG Executive Bureau of 2025 will take place in Seville from April 1 to 4 under the theme “Local and regional governments, engines of development.” The meeting is set to be held as part of the 6th World Forum for Local Economic Development (WFLED), under the forum’s theme “Just transition, financing for development and territorial solutions.”
