Within the framework of UCLG’s 2022 Retreat, Mr. Octavi de la Varga, Metropolis’ Secretary General met with. Mr. Juan Carlos de Castro Pita, Deputy Director for International Relations and Mr. Arnau Gutiérrez, Head of the Partnerships and Networks Department of Madrid The candidature for the Regional Secretariat of Europe was discussed as well as how to improve communication. The agenda of Metropolis for 2022 and the state of the art of the MGET and the Motorec EU funded projects were analysed. Priority areas of work were also identified.
