bilateral meeting with World Resources institute

  • I explored the potential of working with the Washington-based World Resources Institute with their Mobility Director, Felipe Ramírez, whom I had met in Bogotá when he was the Mobility Secretary there. The World Resources Institute has a very good infrastructure for capacity-building, with large field offices in key places like India, Indonesia, China, the Philippines, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and a number of African countries; they often work with local authorities. However, their model is resource-intensive, and Felipe and I failed to identify a clear path for collaboration at this point.
