bilateral meeting with UNDP Executive Office

  • The other meetings I had were at UNDP. Jordi Llopart, who has worked in several positions there for a couple of decades, expressed interest in potentially partnering on three issues: 1) Foresight; 2) Gender and care agenda; 3) Urban poverty. They feel that it is a mistake that only UN Habitat engages strongly with cities, and they want to build with us channels to have consistent and lasting activities. We still need more conversations, but I see this as having good potential in the mid-term.
