30 Years of Participatory Budgeting: more truth, more transparency, more participation

In 2019, the Participatory Budget of Porto Alegre completes 30 years. This precursor tool of participatory democracy, recognized worldwide, promotes, among the various actions of its anniversary, the International Seminar - 30 Years of the "OP" (the participatory budget's acronym from its original name in Portuguese, orçamento participativo).

The themes that will be addressed in the seminar include sustainability, advances and challenges of participation, urban planning and resilience, SDGs, financing of participation, and digital participatory budgeting.
