2nd International Conference "Urban Planning and Management, Sustainable Development and Future Cities"

The Metropolis International Training Institute – Mashhad Branch, Metropolis, FMDV, and UN-Habitat, in the framework of the Uraía Platform, are organising three parallel training seminars in Mashhad (Iran) from April 20 to April 23, 2020.

The main objectives of the event are to share and gain experiences to work collectively toward the SDGs.

In this 13th Mashhad Joint Training program, the following topics will be addressed by well-known global experts and thought leaders:

  1. Increasing Municipal Revenues with SMART Solutions
    [Uraía Capacity Building Workshop- Citizenship Series]
  2. Urban Regeneration with People’s Participation 
  3. Local & Regional Governments - Resources Management towards Public Asset Utilisation and Reforms

These training courses are going to be held in English and are aimed towards urban decision-makers and city managers.

The Mashhad International Institute is delighted to cover the accommodations, including lodging (from April 19 to 23), breakfast, lunch and inner-city transportation, for one person from each city per workshop (3 in total). Other participants should cover the costs for their accommodations themselves.
