Attracting over 1000 participants, this event is organized by Seoul Metropolitan Government and will embrace the different meaning of Walking: Reflecting the meaning of walking with Seoul mates (friends, lovers, colleagues, etc.), expresses the open meaning that Walking connects you with me. Other issues such as pedestrian policy, economic revitalization, environment, transportation, tech (smart walking), health, etc, will be debated. The target of this event is diverse: people from pedestrian cities around the world, pedestrian experts (policy, environment, health, ICT, etc.), citizens interested in walking. Partner institutions will include Bloomberg, WRI (World Resource Institute), ITDP, UITP, UN-Habitat, UN Environment, WHO, SLoCaT, ARUP, ICLEI and AURI(Architecture & Urban Research Institute).
