The Metropolis Board of Directors meeting will take place in Toronto (Canada) from 14 to 16 June 2006. As with all Metropolis meetings, city leaders will use the occasion to exchange points of view with groups of experts. Three Standing Commissions will meet in Toronto: Commission 1 on Eco-regions, Commission 2 on Financing of Services and Urban Infrastructures and Commission 4 on Urban Mobility.

The program will also include guided visits to some of the most significant points in the city, such as Union Station, the Opera House and the MaRS Discovery District. Finally, Commission 5 on Metropolitan Performance Measurement will hold a series of activities in Vancouver within the framework of the World Urban Forum (19-23 June 2006).
