BRICS FRIENDSHIP CITIES CONCLAVE 2016

Mumbai First, a think-tank working to find solutions for urban development, convenes this three-day conclave, involving top urban policy makers and planners from BRICS nations. The event assumes significance given Mumbai's aspiration to become a global financial center and is inspired by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's idea of promoting greater cooperation and people-to-people contact among BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) nations.

The conclave in Mumbai will offer opportunities to hear the latest thinking, meet and learn from peers, connect with key thinkers and opinion formers which will ultimately shape the global urban conversation. This will be a truly global summit driven by a global development agenda, to meet the challenges of urbanization.
