<p>Playful City is a strategy for integrating creativity processes in school curricula in order to equip students with creative skills. </p>

Description

Through the development of a learning method, young people aged 9 to 13 will be given the tools they need to understand the design and innovation processes required to provide urban solutions in conjunction with government. They will thus become proactive citizens.

Objectives

To promote creative thinking among young people ages 9 to 13 with a view to helping them understand the design and innovation processes required to create solutions for their cities in collaboration with government.

Beneficiaries
  • Local government: Civil servants and government institutions will have an incubator for ideas and innovative solutions to the challenges their cities face. The relationship between government and citizens will be strengthened, facilitating dialogue, trust and decision-making.
  • Young people: Students aged 9 to13 at public schools associated with the Playful City project will be equipped with creative tools for educational enrichment and everyday problem-solving.
  • Cities and their human capital: Through dialogue, the sharing of experiences and the design of replicable methods that can influence the educational process and produce proactive citizens.

  • Creación de una nueva metodología creativa de aprendizaje.
  • Creación de métricas, manuales y procesos para que sean compartidos como buena práctica entre diferentes ciudades del mundo.
  • Enriquecimiento del proceso educativo en niños y jóvenes de las ciudades miembros de Metropolis a través de la potencialización de herramientas creativas
